Bridgette Atallah, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist.
Dr. Atallah received her Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her masters and doctoral degrees from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Dr. Atallah completed a prestigious APA-accredited internship at Pacific Clinics where she specialized in working with adults and older adults, providing evidence-supported treatments. Dr. Atallah has also worked at the San Francisco VA Medical Center where she specialized in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; with adolescents struggling in school; with brain injuries under a cognitive rehabilitation model; and with those in substance use recovery. |
Dr. Atallah is skilled in providing individual and group therapy for teens, adults, and older adults. Dr. Atallah prides herself on providing up-to-date, evidence-supported treatments to her patients. While she has experience treating a wide range of problems, Dr. Atallah has particular specialties in anxiety disorders (including social anxiety, PTSD, panic disorder, generalized anxiety, etc), depression, anger, stress management, and difficult life transitions.
Dr. Atallah approaches treatment as a collaborative process, with an open, non-judgmental style. She strives to be direct and transparent with her patients, working together with them as partners on their treatment journey. Dr. Atallah believes that building a strong therapeutic relationship with her patients is a critical foundation for future change. She truly appreciates the effort and bravery her patients display in seeking treatment, and she enjoys helping her patients create happier, more fulfilling lives.
